He is the founder and Managing Partner of the Firm since 1982. As the head of the Firm, he has the final word in resolving professional issues in any of the Firm's departments.
In addition to being a lawyer, he is a Technical Inspector in Employment and Social Security.
In the political-legislative field, he has been a member of the Spanish Parliament for Badajoz for several terms of office.
In the political-administrative field, he has held the post of Director General at several ministerial departments (Education, Employment and Social Security, Interior) and was the first Minister for Health and Social Security of the Spanish democratic period.
In the business world he has held various positions as Board Member, Attorney-Secretary and Chairman of the boards of several companies, both privately held (construction, consulting, advertising, graphic arts, health services, etc) and public companies. Among the latter, the most significant was CAMPSA.
Currently he is Ombudsman for the Insured in "SANITAS Sociedad de Seguros S.A.", President of FUNDAMED and Patron of ADECCO FOUNDATION for Employment Integration.
Within the Firm he coordinates the various Departments, directs the Constitutional Law department and directly manages the "Healthcare Law Consulting" practice through which he assists a broad range of clients in the health industry.
Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Law is one of his more highly recognized areas of expertise.
